proximities because we are the only known living beings that construct chairs and tables, the very existence of these objects refer back to us. this series of drawings and prints are a preliminary exploration of the idea of furniture as human--and what can happen when two independently functional objects become too close or too entwined. i hope to begin realizing these drawings as sculptures in my next phase of proximities. please choose a thumbnail to see a larger image.
